I just want any suggestions on a good but cheap esc that is reliable for around 30 to 50 dollars and it needs to have a deans connector so I can run the stock battery

it would be perfect but I want to run the stock battery too and it has a tamiya connector

Switch the connector on the battery to whatever the ESC has or change the connector on both to whatever you would like to use. I would not use Tamiya connectors though. They have very low tolerance for high current.

sorry what I meant to say was the esc you linked had the tamiya connector and the battery has a deans connector

In this hobby you're going to need a soldering iron, solder, and a bunch of connectors of your choice. Theres almost no way around it.

yeah your right I have been in the hobby for three years so I dont have that stuff and dont worry about it if i dont find one i have a extra xl5 because i am getting a brushless motor for my slash but thank you anyway
