A friend of mine at work has a WL Toys V911 micro heli. His little 1S lipos keep puffing we are assuming because the cheap charger that comes with it is over charging them? plus he would really like to be be able to charge like 4 or more at one time. Now I saw a nice 4 port charger for these types of batteries from esky designed to charge 4 1S lipos for the blade MSX and I orginally had him take a look at that because I thought the lipos were the same. The white connector on the end looks the same but the black plastic piece it attaches to seems to be slightly different. The Blade had 2 ridges running the length of the black plastic piece that are speced evenly apart while the lipos for his V911 have a single ridge right in the center of the black plastic piece. You can't see the ridge in the link below because according to my friend its on the opposite side of the lipos in the pic thats my I'm descibing it here. I dont have any experience with these types of lipos so I'm trying to give as much info as possible. Heres a link to the lipos he is using.

So the question is will this charger that can do the 1S Blade lipos also do these V911 lipos? If not what will? The unit can be either stand alone or something that hooks up to your standard run of the mill lipo charger, either one is fine.

The connectors look like the ones on my Blade micro helis, so I'd say give it a try. I can get the 1s packs for about $6 each so they aren't too expensive.

The Celectra charger you showed is the one I use for all of the 1s Blade micro batteries.

The thing were worried about though is the fact that the ridges on the black plastic piece are different. Will that stop it from going in that charger or is it only the white connector part that fits into the charger and the ridges on the bigger part of the battery dont matter?

Ok, here some info for you guys...I did some scrounging on the interwebz and another forum (I feel dirty now :P ) and the connectors on the V911 are called "MCPX" connectors and the Blades are called "Pico" connectors. they are indeed different and require different charging leads obviously. I found a website that sells a parallel charging boards that will do either 6 MCPX 1s lipos or 6 Pico 1s lipos at the same time.
