Damn that was exhausting. We were supposed to have a 3rd person, but he got pulled to a different team.

I led off the race, ran for 40 minutes with no problems, kept a consistant pace. Ronnie jumped in to continue on, when he hit his 40 minute mark, I went to come back in and thats where things went sour. I blew my steering servo immediately after jumping back on the track (Ko Propo mind you) so we had to swap cars again and try to make up lost time. Ronnie ran the rest of the race with his buggy. Did a fine job too, tunnel vision like whoa sets in I tell you.

We started 7 out of 10 and finished 7 out of 10. We were in 6th for a while, but we had some mechanical issues. It was fun, but I dont want to do another one for a long time. Pics and results should be up soon.

Excellent. You mentioned the golden rule of fun and that's what it's all about. Who cares who wins just al long as you have fun.

Exhausting barly describes it. Besides the fact that my feet fell asleep, and I got a blister from driving it was all good. Until my battery went dead on the LAST lap.

It is one of those races I will never forget. I have to admit as much as I dont like Hitec servos I didnt see any go out. So big ups to all you die hard Hitec fans. I will still run my Airtronics:nope:

Congrats on completing the race! Endurance runs are a bitch! I dont think I have what it takes for one of those. I dont blink when I drive. lol
