went to the annual air show Sunday. got sunburned something wicked, but got some great shots, and we all know what raw power does to you! see if you can guess the photo that almost made me shart myself. Here are a few of the 400+ shots i took. We were at the same location as last year, about 1 linear mile from the actual air show grounds.

I was on Alcatraz last year on the day their was an air show over the SF Bay (got lucky). We had front show seats. The hole show was incredible to witness. Unlike being on the wharf of SF, we were right under the action due to the location of Alcatraz. The noise of the fighters was deafening. Of course the wife forgot the camera.

yep that would be it. standing on the back of the truck, looking down a 300mm telephoto and i was trying my best to flow, zoom out, keep it in frame, and the focus was back and forth all over the place, once it cleared, i hit the shutter. i then looked over and asked my dad, how close was that??? he said, "the pilot has blue eyes..":whhooo:
