I'm going to solder traxxas connectors onto the ends of my stock RC18 MT battery and charger. Will this decrease the charging time of the stock battery?I was just curious about this cuz I'm thinkin that putting high current connectors would speed up charging time.

Thanks,
Austin

it will not speed up the charge, but may give you just a little better performance with the better connection.

what charger are you using?

I just have the stock charger that came with my truck. The one that charges a battery in 1500 hours. Lol. I have a lipo charger but that's just for my lipo

you wont be able to speed up that charger. it is only as fast as the output and its probably 100mah so it would take 15 hours to charge.

a good peak charger would do it in about an hour.
