Saw this one other time a few years ago. I found this one a couple weeks ago new in the box! I really enjoy collecting older/rare RC cars. Over 20 years old!

That is pretty cool. Did you know that Traxxas had a contract with the Department of Defense to turn the E-maxx platform into disposable "bomb bots"? I found a couple in the back of a storage container when I was in Afghanistan back in 2011. I knew nothing about RC back then, or I would have kept it when I got home.

Wow! I did not. Thanks for that info. I am in the process of finding out more about this special edition. I really enjoy digging into the history of some these models!

The ones I found were similar to this. Out of pure ignorance: I brought 2 back to the states. I took them to a hobby shop and told them I would give them one if they fixed the other one up and made it for "civilian" use... in hindsight that was a terrible mistake!

I saw one for sale on ebay 2 or 3 years ago.

Very cool, the 1st and 2nd gen body mold was always my favorite for the stampedes, I've never seen one in this livery! Great find

And cool info about the emaxx bomb bots. I dunno if id trust those glass bulkhead's to deliver such a payload 🤣
