Will the Kyosho Inferno GT2 2-speed fit a Inferno Neo?

Has any one ever upgraded a nitro rc from 1 speed drive to a 2 speed drive
In my case its a Kyosho inferno neo 2.0
Will be using the parts from the kyosho inferno GT2

Maybe need some adaptations hehe
 
I don't know if it can be done ,but I know that the Ofna;s use to sell the 2 spd conversion!

I wont buy new ,so I would have to build one from scratch ,I have everything but chassy or a roller!
I am looking through E-bay now ,but the chit is ridiculously high used!....:doh::doh:

I found the one that is used on GT2
but I don’t know if will need something else
Trying to figure out this
 
The kit come whit the cluth bell and the spur gears

i would imagine you may have to drill extra holes in the chassis for the center diff mount as id expect they would be wider. that said you may need the mounts if the outer bearings races are different diameters. center dog bones may need to come from a different model depending on length as well. i know HPI has a pretty wide assortment of dogbones. who knows that dogbone may be the correct size though.

I also realised tha may need to place the engine a bit behind
But for that I got some adjustments on the chassis
This will give some extra room for the gears

Ofna put out some mounts that adjust forward & back ,might want to see if
there is an aftermarket engine mount that does that!

Just an update about the gear conversion
I ve got the parts , and as expected they are wider and wouldn’t fit with out some adaptations
So what I’ve done so far was to cut the chassis to get the gears fitted and made some extras holes
Also had to move the fuel thank
And will need to get one shorter front dog bone
