A loaded question given the variety of chassis out there. My axial came in the mail and I'm curious to know the width, outside of plate to outside of plate, dimension of some of the custom chassis people are running.

I have the opportunity to fab up some custom vertical plate and delrin skid.

thanks

Alot of people seem to be running narrow chassis. Sorry I can't give you a certain width. I'm sure SNG knows all about it.

Most custom chassis are running between 2-1/4" - 3" wide from the inside of the vertical plates. The thickness of the vertical plates would determine how wide it would be over all. The narrower chassis will usually have a open side on the right so the the motor can hang out.

Yep x2.

Here is what a typical narrow chassis looks like.
