width help

Can anyone with a rear axial ax10 axle AND a pair of 0mm offset wheels, non beadlock, so like a drifters/touring wheel, get me a exact width outside to outside mounted up and list what rims you used?

I'm sure its a long shot.

You want outside to outside of the tire? I can throw some touring rims and tires on the back of my Axial AX10 and take a measurement for ya.

Ok bud, using HPI 5 star wheels with 0 offset mounted to the AX10 axle I get 8 1/2 inches outside to outside. Let me know if you need anything else.

What hex' are on your axle Joe? are they thick or are they the pretty thin ones like these?

They are exactly like those except the green aluminum ones

But I didnt even think about the hexes. If you were to use a touring car hex you could slim the with down by probably 1/4 inch

These are 6mm thick.

Depending on the design of your wheel I'm sure you might be able to shave another 2mm if necessary.

Thanks. The project I'm wanting to start will need to have my rear setup 8.25 or less because I've only found one body (lexan not hard) 8.25, all the others I've looked at are right at 8.
