I have ntc3 with stock tires. I was wanting to get some wider rubber tires. I have some widter foam ones but I need rubber ones. Any suggestions? I need tires and wheels. I just dont' seem to be getting the traction I need.

Go to a softer compound with the foams.
That will help.

Well, rubber tires only come in 26mm width. Foams will come in 26mm for the front and 30mm for the rear.

Softer foams will give you better traction with a compromise in tire wear. Chunking will also be a factor to contend with. For your rubber tires, if you want better traction, try a softer compound and change the foams inside the tires. Put the premolded ones in from HPI. Med for the front and Med/soft in the rear. Sping weights and shock oil will also play a role but for now, let's keep it simple
The choice of rubber tires is just as vast as the choice for foams.

thanks for the advice. I did notice after ONE run that my foam tires had huge chuncks out of them. Then of course the one that hit the curbe was shatterd. It made a loud pop like a light bulb. I have never broken a tire so easily. Usually it is the hub that breaks not the tire. But of course I am uses to trucks and not touring cars. At 20 bucks a pop I had better get better at driving this thing :-)

btw here is my NTC3

HPI has 31mm tires in their retro/classic wheel and tire line. So if you want a wide rubber tire you can go that route....
