It's coming to the end man,all these brain washed kids man,alright seriouslly WTF are some people thinking,i hate my school,but i don't open fire on it,although sometimes i wish i did but that's beside's the point,some people should just get a clue,and learn to get along.
you know why this kinda poop happens it because the discipline has been taken out of the parents hands now days, you can't even yell at your kid without taking the risk your neighbors are going to hear you and call the cops on you for what the think is some kinda of domestic disturbance going on can't we get back to an old fashion ass beaten from a twig from a weeping willow tree, that seemed to keep me in line for awhile! :whack:

i mean really I'm a teenager and i wonder why would you be so stupid trying to fix a temporary problem is ruining your life forever highschool is four years the average human lives 75 80 years why end your life/ruin it when you have lived less than 20% of your life oh well

I agree my dad used the belt kept me in line and my mom used the wooden spoon to keep me in line. Parents need to punisher their kids.
Hpiracer I agree with you but you have to remember somthing.
People learn how to cope with alot of things in HS.everything from maturity/ and how to deal with personal problems and if those 4 years are hell do you really think that the person will come out like normal citizen.
I dont agree with shooting your school up but everybody here who remembers HS, remembers that one dumbass bully who got away with everything.
Frankly all problem teens need to be put on a bus that is headed for the nearest military base. Let them spend a few years in infantry. but that is my opinion.

^ ^ I'd agree with that, but many kids come back from the military more of an ass than when they went in. 
I agree most with itsmesag1, it's the breakdown of the family unit and the societal moral structures, such as <eek> religion that are leading to our demise.
I'm not a religious person (so I guess that may make me part of the problem) but one thing that the strictures of religion has done is give the confused and shiftless a PLAN. But we've torn all that down.
No one has a life plan. We've torn them all down in the interest of "freedom" and we turn to our government for answers in it's place. An all Big Bro has to offer is a form 32-C-00056 in triplicate. Because we're not strong enough as a whole to to actually REALIZE the potential of our freedom - that each of us can now take our lives wherever we want them to go - what do we do? Nothing, that's what. Sit around and get bored and angry until we snap.
Sadly enough, many people NEED direction. They NEED to be told what to do. They won't do it on their own. A review of any message board "4 grammer and where U R goin iz enuff 2 proov pple can't do it on there own."
But we don't want anyone telling us what to do. So basically, we've f***d ourselves.

IMO the parents are afraid to discipline their children due to the violence that is erupting nowadays. Don't be afraid to lay down the rules and if need be spank their butt if they are young enough. Don't let your children run you,that is not how it goes eitherway. You as the parent are your childrens guide in life. You need to give the lessons for them to learn and show them how they should be not what they think they should be. What child or adolescent knows what they need in life? I spank my son but I know there is a limit to it. He knows that his parents love him and would do anything for him but when does something wrong he knows that he will be disciplined accordingly. Love your children people! Love them by being truthful,loving and protecting. They depend on YOU the parent to be there whether they like it or not.
I say this all because I am saddend to see so much violence and to then to see children in that same category makes me disgusted.

This kind of thing has been going on for a long time. Before guns it was knives.
After Columbine the media grabbed hold of every incident and played it out to the last zit on the ass of everyone involved directly or indirectly. Now it’s a media frenzy that sensationalizes every aspect of school violence. Doing this has perpetuated the violence to a point that any kid that wants attention knows they can get it by capping a few class mates.
It’s nothing new but our awareness of this kind of issue is being enhanced by the wide spread media attention and the Twinkie Defense.
After Columbine the media grabbed hold of every incident and played it out to the last zit on the ass of everyone involved directly or indirectly. Now it’s a media frenzy that sensationalizes every aspect of school violence. Here is alittle update 10 dead this includes is grampa and grampas girlfriend whom he lived with, grampa was a cop, he shot them first with a 22. Then he took a 40 cal a shotgun and bullet proof vest, got in the cop car and drove to the school were he shot and killed a group that fled into a room. Then he went into the hallway and shot 3 more people, the police showed up and shot at him, so he fled into the room were he shot the first group and turned the gun on himself. The news said two more were in critical condition it sounds like one probably will not make it, he was shot in the eye. Apperently he was into chatting on a neo nazi page and made threats about shooting the school up on there. The Red Lake Indian reservation is one of the worst in Minnesota. I've been through there a couple of times and I can tell you, it is a crap hole. No jobs no money and lots of drugs and booze.

yep I'm 18 and all i got to say is that my generation is crap!!!!
90% of the students in school are stoned. and the other 9% think that they are the only ones there and when someone says something they dont like they come back with guns.
I know I've had feelings that i wish i could do something to these people at school and i might have even thought like them but I've never acted on them cuz i knew that the next day or at most the next year it was going to be different. But ever since i became an upper-classmen i poke fun at freshmen but not to the point that they think their life is crap or anything.
So all I'm saying is that people need to really sit down and think about what they are going to do. Go ask someone else for help do somthing about it but dont kill 9 people along the way.

MAn no offense but its all the gothic weird ppl most of the time, i mean this guy was a member of the neonatzi organization or fomfin. I'm a freshman and no one picks on me but i guess thats cuz I'm the size of some of the juniors and seniors, o well like the post above lots of kids are messed up these days lots have depression and all.
I bet if you actually spent time to get to know some of those "weird" people you would find they are pretty interesting people.....without even realizing it you just ousted a whole group of people w/ a slightly deragatory remark.....and I'll bet they sit on their goth chat rooms saying "man those fishermen are just way too strange.....they read about fuzzy hooks and neon rubber worms"....see how you can see someone else and think they are the weird ones at the same time they are doing the same thing.....HMMMM I wonder why these kids are feeling alone and sad....I was into Punk and skateboarding when it was considered stupid and NOT COOL....O FUCKIN WELL....I liked it and I still do....does that mean I (we) can't accept other people who enjoy different things in life?????? I'm not saying this kid was in any way shape or form justified in his actions.....but I do understand what it's like to be the butt of everybodies jokes and not be accepted into the "in crowd"......I'm lucky enough to have found friends along the way that accepted me for who I am not what I listen to or what I did w/ my time.....next time you see one of those goth freaks remember what your thoughts are as you walk by......try smiling and sayin what's up or just hey as you walk by......

Plaid but there are 2 sides to that coin..
There are some of those people who are cool yes and a matter of fact there are a couple people that i talk to that are like and they are ok people just different thoughts.
but on the other side of that coin they think your weird cuz your a prep or whatever you are so they stay away from you and avoid you and make fun of you.
so i mean it goes both ways. But people always think of it as the popular one who make fun of the " Weird " people but thats not always the case. Just usually.

I have always been a easy person to get along with.
and if I dont get along with them I just ignore them.

ya it works for me. My problem is someone says somthing really stupid and I have the Best come-back :censored: for it but I have to keep my mouth shut so I dont say it. it can drive me crazy sometimes lol
Where are the parents? I know that Diver probably has a good thing to say on this view.
I just feel that our nations kids are going south at least the majority of them. Priorities are not right and education is at the bottom of that list. Who is to blame? Parents mostly. Love your kids and kids love your parents!

UUUUUHHHHH I beleive that's exactly what I said there Junior.....my point was that who's going to take it on themeselves to stop it???? Both sides should but if neither ever makes the decision to do t then this incident in Minnesota can be the outcome of someone in your school God forbid......and Jon I am a parent and I do teach my daughter what's right and wrong....I've been very blessed w/ a very well behaved little girl....I have only spanked her twice in her life and it was for running in the street between parked cars when she was 3.....I spend every night talking to her about what she did that day and how she felt about whatever.....I think that is where a lot of parents go wrong...they don't just talk to the kids.....I know every one of my daughters friends by name and most of her classmates too.....I speak w/ her teacher about 1 month.....and I ride my long board while she rides her scooter around the neighborhood.....I beleive if I play w/ her then she'll want to communicate the things that are important......mr_bob said:
