Why is this so expensive?

That is a coreless motor'd servo. people that race onroad, pan cars in particular, love 'em for their speed. I remember reading somewhere that they're at least 10-15% faster than a 'cored' servo of the same specs.

I have this servo on my XXXNT that I got in a trade. What is so special about this one that it is so expensive.

I noticed "coreless motor", what's so great about that?

Thanks

I always wonder the same thing when I look at some of the things I want. But I think it might be because of the dust and water resistant and the torque

You pay for the fast transit time. .09 seconds/60 degrees (at 6V) This would make a great throttle/brake servo.

It's on the steering side right now.

Overall, it was a pretty good trade (I think at least)

I parted with the big block maxx, p/s rebuild for that mill, 2 bodies, and a set of road rage tires mounted on aluminum wheels

I got an MGT in pretty good condition, an extra body, new skid plates, various other parts for it, and this losi xxxnt drake edition with upgrades. I think I came out on top.
