I am so fed up with how much i pay in taxes, i don't even feel like working anymore. I hate that i am giving a free ride to people who are fully able to work and just choose not to. I got my quarterly bonus today and over 40% went to taxes. Even if i agreed with what my money went to, its still insane how much we pay in taxes. I say if you don't pay taxes, you don't get to vote.

I am paid by the state, to which i pay taxes....... so each paycheck, i put into my next one.......

Uh, can you lend me $20? I could use it to pay my taxes. Apparently you're willing to write it off. :D

i'd love to but the liberals already took it. Ask the next guy you see sitting on his porch for it.

I'm fed up with Texans, they don't have to pay sales tax on energy star rated appliances on Memorial Day. We're about to buy a new washing machine and sales tax in Cali is almost 10 percent. Grrrr.

gotta pay off your states 42 billion dollar deficit somehow. :) jk, that sucks.

Alot of stuff in texas should be the rule rather than the exception.

Our bonus check were taxed at the same rate FLM, really sucks to see that much being taken out.
Then, when I got laid off in March, my severance pay is taxed at the same rate! Apparently it's not considered income for services rendered so it is taxed at the bonus check rate. When I found out I was getting laid off, I went into our payroll and changed my dependents to 12. :-)
It helped a little, but my checks were still a couple hundred less (bi-weekly).

You are in part with the 40% you just donated to the upcoming CA bailout fund. :hehe:

Thanks!
