Why eBay often sucks

I don't see anything wrong with someone with a 100 dollar item putting 75 dollars for shipping and someone can bid from 0-25. .

That's called fee avoidance,also against eBay rules. Just as bad shill bidding IMO. You're still cheating and lieing. eBay will be MORE likely to take action against sellers for this when reported. I report them when I see'm !

Oh well, you can report me when I do it. if I do it. their final sale fees are ridiculous. I don't see why it bothers anyone else, if you don't like the way a person does business why not just go purchase from someone else? Don't have to be a rat.

there are a million things in this law that are illegal or against the rules, i'm sure everyone that posted in this thread has done something illegal at some point and time.

I've had a seller charge me 20$ for EMS shipping, no problem I gladly payed. Only when I got the item three weeks later it was sent as priority mail at 8$ value. That seller is the reason I have a negative feedback as a buyer.

Since we are on the subject of Ebay, does anyone know how to cancel a bid? I think someone read my post here and didn't like what I said about ebay. Either way, I have someone that wants their bid canceled. LoL I don't know how to cancel bids????

eBay fees are ridiculous,I know as I have been using them since '99. That's why I've found other ways to sell my stuff and no longer sell there and only buy when I can get a smokin' deal. Call it what you want,people that try to cheat the system have ruined it for the those that follow the rules.

It was a 5$ item that I really needed. EMS is express shipping, and it was stated at the bottom that they only used EMS for shipping abroad. Like I said I gladly payed.

The reason for the negative feedback was I contacted the seller telling him I was unhappy with paying for EMS and only getting priority mail. His response "shipping rates are clearly stated on each auction". My response to that was giving him a negative feedback, so he of course returned the favor. I payed for something I didn't get. EMS shipping should have gotten me that part in 5 days, but it took three weeks.

Racer, it was a few years ago. Before eBay got poopy with all the changes.

Well maybe you should before you decide to comment without having half a clue what went down.

First off it was about a clown who thinks it's ok to bid his own auctions up creating a false interest in the item, aka shill bidding, had you actually took the time to read the thread before adding your two cents, you would have known that. Second, sellers that charge $75 shipping and say only $25 for the item, is just are bad if not worse. If that seller rips off the buyer, ONLY the item price is protected under paypals buyer protection, NOT the shipping fees. So the buyer has no recourse to get his money back.

lol, i guess the fact I have stuff that's up for sale with free shipping that i'll actually have to pay for because I figure the auction will go for the same price either way doesn't really matter either huh?


I don't see what cover i've blown either, you can view my sales and all my stuff has reasonable shipping, most of which i'll prob. lose money on anyways, that doesn't really matter to me because i'll make up for it in whatever the item sells for.

I ship just about everything signature confirmation with insurance.

View my feedback and read the info about shipping. Everyones been pleased with the transactions. It's only you that has issues.

What the hell ever happen to maturity, respect, morals, etc.. You don't like what someone does, you should have enough respect to take your actions elsewear. not stick your nose in it like it's all your buisness when it doesn't even effect you.


Have you taken the time to look at your lives and the way you act? most of you have attitudes that you're against everyone that does the least little thing you don't like, you jump on them just because you can. you don't show any respect for anyone. you sit here and complain about EVERYTHING rather than having a positive outlook and attitude. it's really sad. Just because someone does something you don't like, says something you don't like, etc.. you don't need to create negative feedback and turn it into a pissing match. have enough respect for other people and realise not everyone in this world thinks the same way you do. this isn't internet boxing, it's a fricking rc forum where people who enjoy the hobby are supposed to unite and share their experiences with each other, not get all butthurt because someone does or says something you do not like and jump on them like a polar bear on a mouse.
