Since i see the k3 is already selling on ebay (from japan), how many people are dumping there cars for one ?

:hehe:

Alright, alright. I admit it. I would like to have a K3. Would I rather have it over the X5, probably not. It does look sweet though, just not sure it's worth $750.

dude, are the screws on the kanai 3 still phillips (+) head? I was so happy to see that someone ( mugen --mbx5) has finally switched to hex keys head screws for the bottom of the chassis. phillips screws are the most bastardized screws to work with. there is no way in hell my next buggy will have them.

is anyone else out there fed up with stripping phillips screws?

Well if you invest in a #1 and #2 METRIC philips head screwdriver then you wont have that problem

WFC makes awesome ones!

I maybe the back-asswards one on the board but I would MUCH rather deal with a Philips head screw than a hex. I have three rides and I have stripped out more than one hex head on all three. I have yet to strip out a philiips one.

all I can say is they suck trying to use the L shaped tools, but a set of these makes it far superior

and yes Christian I have a hardened #1 and #2 phillips and though those are the right tools for the job I still prefer hexes to phillips.

But are they METRIC 1 and 2???

If so, you should NEVER strip one ;)

And yes, good tools in this hobby are the key element to happiness. I have both the Losi and OFNA hex drivers and they are both AWESOME. Both made from drill bit blanks.

The metric philips heads are key!

Thanks Çh®i§tiªñ,

I have no idea whether my phillips drivers are metric or not (I always buy my tools at the crappy tire here not giving much thought about it) I WOULD assume that they are metirc since I do live in Canada, but I'm still not 100% sure. good advice though, thanks!

I do own a #1 and number #2 phillips screw drivers it doesn't say if they are metric or standard, and I never stripped the phillips screws on my storm as the screws were hard and of good quality but I prefer hex that's all. I am not saying this because I bought a Mugen either, I converted my entire max to hex screws with the exceptipn of my 3 gas tank screws.

Where does it say if they are metric or standard? I think you are smoking one on this C-dawg.

Well I've seen metric standard style screwdrivers, never seen metric phillips (but then again i dont know if #2/#3/ect is metric or standard or some universal)

Hex screws sucks as phillips, Torx screws are the best ones.

Dude, I was thinking "I'll have to get some metric screwdrivers" I TOTALLY fell for it! Yuck Fou LOLOLOLOLOL! I'm gonna try that on someone at my LHS, and claim it as my own. Too funny!
