I'm getting ready to buy a new mill, and was wondering which one I should get. These are my choices.

Sirio .27 11 port - 200.00
Collari .30 3 port - 200.00
Rossi .28 3 port 210.00
Rossi .28 8 port 280.00

The Rossi 8 port only has .5 hp more then the 3 port. So I'm not sure if it's worth the extra cash. From what everyone says the Rossi 8 port is the way to go. But I need info from people that these motors at one time or another.

Let me know guy's.....

yea from what i've heard the collari but if your a beginer or are not good at tuning i would bet the wasp or diablo .28

My vote is for Wasp .28, maybe a SH .28 if you do want to spend the extra 20.

Get the COLLARI .30 and give us a Review :) I think either one of those engines will give you the power you will need...but either MAY also be a headache to tune.

What do u plan on doing??
If u are racing: xtm 247 or pro
Bashing: I have heard that the collari is good except i have heard that the motor doesn't last long.

oh! PICCO 27...a friend of mine has one in his LS but eb modded and it rips the track apart.

The collari .30 I've only seen it being broken in in a RAPTOR Truck and that Raptor would pop wheelies 1/4 throttle...

not sure about engine life span though...that might have to do with proper maintenance of the owner too.

Where did you get this info from? I have yet to hear anything bad in terms of longevity, I am on my second gallon and she is still running very strong.

Sweet, what truck do you have the COllari in? Been thinking of getting it too but I don't see a lot of people that has it.

I would say Collari... The sirio 11 port is not $200... i bought mine for $350, and that was a hell of a good price. Maybe on ebay it is that good... I still havent gotten to break mine in, but it was hella fast for just the first 8 tanks.

I've been tuning these engines for some time now. I consider myself to be good at it. I can do all the port and polish work on them also. I came across a deal on those engines and just wondering which way to go. The collari protted would be real nice!! I wonder if the Collari and the 27R head to head which one would win.

Sweetdiesel: I have only been racing this motor 2 times now and just got thru a gallon. But i have heard stories of people running 12 gallons of 30% through the xtm 247 pro in 2 race seasons and it still hauled butt. Crazy!!!

now thats a long lasting engine!! if you dont want to tune a lot and you want a lot of power go with the .28s (wasp, diablo,sh)

also look at the sportwerks .26 or the mach .26. both are easy to tune, and hold the tune well. they range in price but i think they are about 150ish... check out horizon hobby.com u should be able to get all the info there

I seen a Savage this past weekend with a Nova .28 and that thing flew. It could have easily competed with the truggies with a few minor suspension tweaks. OUt of the 16-18 savages that raced on Sunday, this thing got the most air on the big jump.

Is the Collari a pain in the butt to tune?
I am thinking of getting another engine after my current one goes.
But that might still be a while.

I found the collari more sensitive to weather changes than the stock S25 on the savage, aside from that i'd say its about the same to tune.
**note** the pull start on mine has been rebuilt at least 6 times now. I keep breaking cords on it. If you do not get a roto start type, beef up the pull start string.

Well, I picked up my Sirio .27 11 port, 198.00 shipped, for the price I couldn't pass it up.
