Yo, I need to buy some tires for when I get my ntc3 which should be here pretty soon. I have heard that Parma, TRC, and Jaco make great foams. I know there are others, but I have never used foams before so I wouldn't know the difference. I am looking for around 45-40 in front and 40-35 in the rear. I saw Parma makes Magenta and Cyan which are 43 and 36 which would be PERFECT for me, but they are out of stock on this site http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebproduct.asp?pageheader=home&specialpage=special (very cheap :D yay). Whats a good starting set up for me? ill be racing on asphalt but not until spring. I will use these for my street and the parking lots for bashing and practicing in the winter before race season.

Warning about bruckners. It's a good store. I do shop there BUT they can't gaurantee that the foams that are on sale do not have dry rot. A lot of them are the discontinued versions. It's best if you can inspect them in person.

As far as the foams that I use, here they are in order of preference:
  • Ellegi
  • Speedmind
  • Twister
I have used Jaco and found them not suitable as far as compound/wear rate. For Fast tires, well I haven't used them enough to give a +/-. GQ's are a nice tire that is very popular. Again, I have yet to try these out next season but for now I can neither say good or bad.

I use three types of foams, depending on availability at my LHS, but here is a place that sells all three, and for a good price, also they are good foams hence I ordered some recently from them.
Fast Tires
JACO Racing
Power Tyres

Well.. that site is run by Dinball on ebay, and he is allll the way in Asia. I dont think i want to buy from another country.

I buy from Dinball. They're ok, it takes about 10 business days to arrive but they have excellent prices. It's better to buy in bulk from them tho....
