I wanna start doin 1/18 scale RC and i was wonder which car is the best 2 buy first ??? Mini T , Hpi micro RS4 , XRay M18 , or any other 1/18 scale rc.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?

Off road Mini-T of course, on road I would go with the x-ray. They have been running a micro class at the parking lot races I've been going to and the x-ray that have been running seem to be running much better than the Micro RS4's. There are a lot more hop ups for the Micro RS4 though. The x-ray is a really nice kit with alot of adjustability in it. I have a Mini-T and an X-ray but I just got them both recently so I don't have much experience with either one yet.

Do u prefer on or off-road? IMO I say the Xray M18 or RS4 and then the Mini-T.

Team 17 i want somethin' i can drive in my house but if i feel like it hit the streets.
I drove a mini-t my lil cuz has 1 but i never drove a rs4 and i never even seen x-ray.would the mini z's come into play in this category ¿?¿?¿?,,,,,,,,if any thing i dont wanna anything that is like those xmods from radio shack (all the money i threw away and not alot of performance)

The mini-z's are fun, but to hit the streets I say any of the three I mentioned in my previous post.

Which of those 3 cars would i have the most fun w/ and get the most perfomance out if them ¿?¿?¿?

I have 1 of each.
Mini Z= Trash
MiniT is great for in and outside. You can jump the cat and chase him around on any floor surface. Outside it will run in the dirt or on the street. Hop ups are plentiful and it will be the cheapest to get into. You can get street tires for it as well.

RS4 is good on smooth surfaces in the house but lacks on the carpet. The same goes for the X-Ray.

IMO, The X-Ray out preforms the RS4 hands down for less money. Your still into it for $250.00 minimum. Its a great track micro and street racer.

You would have plenty of fun and performance out of the Mini-T. Can't go wrong.

i decided 2 go w/ the Mini-T but i was wondering could i put a regular electric motor in it cause i have a spare electric rustler lying around...............

(if anyboy wants 2 but it tell me but need lots of work but motor , receiver and controller are still good 4sho)

I believe the motor is way to big to fit.
I tried to put a 300 size can in mine and it was WAY overkill.
To get better performance the first thing to do is get a bearing set, battery pack and oil filled shocks. This will get you the most bang for the buck. Later you can get a larger can and start upgrading parts as they brake to handle the additional power.

There are several threads in the 1/18th forum to read about the Min-T. after you feed on the info there I'm sure you will have some questions.
