I have been searching and searching and I can not find a site that sells a good assortment of lacquer based paints for use on lexan bodies. My LHS only sells it in rattle cans and I am looking for the airbrush type. Anyone know any good sites I can order from? TIA.

Pactra racing finishes is lacquer, isn't it? They sell 2 different kinds. One is acryl and says it right on the label. I believe the other is lacquer. And those are widely available. Check Tower.

Punch in "Pactra" on the search. Then start scrolling. When I did it, I got the rattle cans first. Then right after was the lacquer. They are under the general heading "Paint-polycarbonate".

All the paints under that heading in the Pactra section are lacquer. In the description they note that lacquer thinner is needed for thinning and cleaning so it's the right stuff. The Pactra Acryl will have the little red strip on the label that says Acryl.

I have a few brand new bottles of that stuff if you're interested. I don't particularly care for it myself. I have black, silver, red, orange, and white.
