when i steer left... it goes right !

hi all,

Still very new to nitro RCs.

My ebay bought smartech has developed a strange habit, whereby the steering has become switched, ie i steer left, but the wheels steer right, and vice versa.

what could be causing this?

Reverse the steering on your transmitter.

Yes, it does. juli, look on the controller and there will be 2 switches. One is to reverse steering and one to reverse throttle. Flick one and see if it switches the steering. Make sure you dont switch the wrong one, because the model will take off full throttle!

Do you mean those two twisty dials under the power switch?

I thought they were fine tuning the steering and idle speed? (that’s what I've been using them for)

No, tiny little flush slider switches. they look square. sometimes they are towart the bottom on the front, and sometimes they are in the battery compartment, behing the batt. I'm just not familiar with Smartech, but you'll find them now.
