wheely king new owner questions

hey my uncle just bought the hpi 4wd wheely king rtr and was wondering what is the biggest pack he could put in it also what are the motors/speed controllers he could add to it

The biggest battery that will fit in the stock holder is a flat 6 cell stick pack. The motor plate is set up to use a 540 motor which means his choices for a motor and esc are almost endless.

As far as the esc and motor are concerned there is no limit on mah, voltage is where they have limits. I wouldn't go over 7 cells on the stock esc, it has trouble with just 6 cells depending on the gearing.

well he was looking at getting some 3k stick packs these wont hurt the truck correct?

The stock ESC is trash.

Replace it with a CC Sidwinder, never look back. :yes:
