Why do most people use a solid style wheel on truggies/buggies?

^^No help^^

Its just a preferance, not sure why they use a solid dish wheel compared to your lug style wheels, maybe to prevent dirt from whipping inside the wheel and getting into your cvd carriers or such, they may even have the "ideal" offset with the solid dish style.

Sorry.

Running on dirt tracks, its important to keep dirt away from rotating parts, bearings axles pretty much everything, even dirt lodging i the wheels can throw the wheel balance off. Racing is not about show, so the important things are aimed towards racing, light, strong, aerodynamic, keep dirt out, and grip. Dish wheels do all of this very well, if it ain't broken, no need to fix it. Plus there are many stylish options that will fit, but be useless on the race track.

I'm not a racer, just a new fan
