Hey

I'm having a problem with a kyosho alpha 3 where the spur gear will spin but the wheels will not move if there is any resistant on them?

any1 got any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

thanks

how do you find out if you have one??

how do you tighten it?

there should be a nut with 2 spring washers in the middle of the spur gear ..try that ..tight it a little bit at a time ..because you dont want to flatten the spring washers ...

do you have the manual for your car ?? its should be in it

there it's any screw in the middle of my spur gear
could it be anything else?

and no i dont i brought it second hand of a friend

i dont really know your vehicle ...tried to find it online , but can't seem to find it ...do you have pics of the tranny /spur gear setup ??..there has to be some sort of slipper clutch on it that you can adjust

ahh its an onroad shaft drive.

start by turning the spur by hand and watching the driveline. you dont have a trans so it should be clutch bell to spur, and spur on the center driveshaft. make sure the center shaft turns, then look at the outdrives to the wheels. see if they turn.

it could be a loose grub screw on a shaft, a stripped wheel, wheel nut, or broke pin, or a diff.
