I have been looking online for days trying to find an aggressive wheel and tire combo. I don't want rediculous big tires so anyone who is gonna say Jumbo Kongs or Big Joe's can save their breath...or...fingers....Anyway I am getting dizzy with all these numbers and missleading tire sizes.:seeing_stars: If anyone can post some pics or links to a good (wheel and tire) set that would be fantastic. Anything thats all-terrain. Just a basher here. Thanks.

I really like the tires that come on the later model revo 3.3 and maxx 3.3:

I use traxxas's 17mm hex rims (bought them as sets on ebay or forums).

The tires have a pretty aggressive tread pattern, but not so aggressive that you have to worry about them grinding down quickly by running on concrete.

Currently on my 2.5 chassis revo:

+1. After trying a bunch of different combos, including some 40 series anchors, I always go back to those. Perfect size, good bite and not overly heavy.

The traxxas tires do bite well in dirt and concrete but I personaaly have had issues with the sidewalls wearing quickly when on concrete. It may just be that I corner too fast and the tires "roll" over causind sideI wall abrasion. IMO I should just get a street tire for my street driving habits!
Overall the traxxas wheel/tire is a good setup and reasonably priced.

I scored a set of wheels/tires and splined hubs from a brand new revo on ebay. The 1/2 inch offset "GEODES" make my maxx look and handle awesome. I'd show you but right now my maxx is getting completely re-worked.....AGAIN.

hey huys newbie here, iv got a 3.3 tmaxx and recently bought some tire really cheap, they look like the panther T300 step pins, i was looking for some kick @ss rims for them, idk what size to look for or anything, gut at local hobby shop said 17mm...?? I'm lost

17mm is the hub size, if you take off the wheel on your T Maxx you will find a 14mm hub. The hub is the small octagon. If the wheels you want are 17mm just get on ebay and buy the aluminum hubs really cheap.

Go with 320-series Zombie Mam tires mounted on chrome 320 Force wheels their from the ten-t and their a little small but get amazing traction and dont balloon like most tired do.
