Wheelie bar VS Wing

I can do wheelies on my Revo 2,5 with no problem, all what I need to do is just adjust slipper clutch,as now is loose for better handling...

The tekno mount is great. (Joe that’s what is on your new truck) The wing doesn't only help when running fast and racing, I found that it makes a big difference in the air. The revo tends to be nose heavy, but with the down force/weight of the wing it balances it out very well.

If you feel you are wheeling too much I would go with the wide ratio gears, and a smaller spur gear. Those two in combination with the wing will give you a super fast truck that handles well and flies well.

I'm gonna stay on the standard ration gears because i plan to race soon. so the standard ratio i think would be good on a short to med distance track (what I'm running on)

I have actually had both a wing and a wheelie bar on my truck (not at the same time) and if you are just a basher or even a racer the wing is a much better choice and as it was said before in earlier posts from other people the wing is great protection for the top of the engine. . i mean i flipped mine on its lid at almost full speed and it slid down the pavement and it did nothing to it except for some gouges in the top of it. . .better to destroy a $20 part than a 200 dollar engine(prices not exact just doing it as a point). . .n e wayz i would definatly go with a wing over a wheelie bar any day(only because i have used both):)

I second that answer,My wing save me a lot of bad wheelies that did not go so well,Revo has so much power that tires are ballooning while doing wheelies so much.

i have seen that its actually quite entertaining. . .lol

i was just owned by my revo. . .i said it was entertaining when the tires balloon up. . .well i think i just ripped one of my molded foam inserts for my tires while it was on the truck

a option I have seen people do to keep from grinding the wing down while it is wheeling, is to take the wheels from a wheely bar drill small holes in the side supports for the wing and bolt the wheel there so enough wheel sticks out to let the wing ride on them while in a wheely.

because although it helps alot while doing wheelies the wheelies also frind the plastic down the wheels stop this.

wow thats a great idea i have never thought of that. . .does it really help and where abouts on the mount should the wheels be mounted???

seems good, but it won't work with all wings...
some one should open a new company with all the goodies for trucks designed by normal people that use trucks such as Revo,Savage,T-Maxx etc... every day and know what's good and what's not.

I'm gonna have to go wheelie bar for mine. The wing just doesn't fit the rest of my build, being that I'm running a '72 Chevy C10 body. I've already scuffed the top of my danged Red Dot! Pissed! It's just got so much freakin' torque!

*OOPS!* Just realized this is the REVO forum! My bad!
