Hobbyzone just came out with the new technology of mind- driven starter systems. You look at, or imagine, the part you want to spin and yell "start".
Just send me $300.00 and I'll hook you up!

Other than that:
whatever is most convenient for you.
As far as I know, they all work.

cheers but no thanks i want to start racing i need to find out what will be best for racing

most people use a starter box for racing. It is the fastest way to start up your truggy so you can get on the track fast and warm up the engine. Plus the brief time between races goes very fast. I can speak from experience trying to get a truggy on the track. And it goes just as fast sitting in front of the timing computer running the races.

I personally use a roto start and that is just prefrence on my part so I don't have to haul around a heavy starter box.

Starter box if your racing. The other thing to consider when your racing if your using a engine mount that's not for a RTR, then pull start and roto start back plates won't fit without shimming. If your using a RTR and plan to use a starter box you may need a larger flywheel and or different engine mount. Most guys use the starter box for the weight savings and convenience.
