  1. Bashing
Hey guys,
I was just wondering on what you guys would consider to be the fastest nitro motor on the market for an 8th scale 4 wheel drive buggy, its not a track car what so ever, its only for fooling around with, I'm not going to swap my engine out now but i will with in the next 5 to 6 months. lol

LRP30R is a pretty quick engine.....there are a bunch though if the only factor you want is speed ;-)

yup, exactly, none of the cars I own have ever been in a race, thought about it but naa, just into the hobby because I enjoy bashing them around, driving my nabors nuts by having extremely loud and crappy pipes, and of course the major factor for me speeeeed lol

Loud, crappy pipes and speed don't go hand in hand. Lrp, picco, OS, ect... Higher end engines run best, as long as you have the patience to break them in correctly. And run the right pipe. Some engines take upwards of a gallon of fuel to break in correctly.

Yea I know, All the cars that I fool around with in my back yard are all crapers so that gives me the advantage to put suckish loud pipes on them, and then you go to my good pile and there basically trailer queens when it comes to cleanlieness and they only get the best of the best !!! the worst part about the old cars is that not only are they extremely loud to begin with but I live in the suburbes so it echos off of the houses lmao

OK, forget what I said before about me waiting, my engine just blew up so I'm gona have to get an engine as soon as I get some money built up, I'm not exactly looking for an engine thats going to cost me $300 bucks because i simply I dont have the money for that as of right now but I'm still looking for something that is going to have alot of speed and will definatly have the most bang for my buck and please include what gear ratio and muffler will work best, thanks in advanced Dragd
