What's the best lvc to get for a e maxx with EVX

I just got a older e maxx with the purple and orange esc and just ordered a new evx2 w/ new twin 550. And was considering on running duel 2c lipo batts. Want some advise what should I do go bigger NiMH packs or put a lvc in and run lipo? Thanks guys.

Switch out the ESC on your Maxx for a newer version that has an LVC built-in. It's probably as cheap as adding just an LVC.

LiPo is a no-brainer these days. I won't run anything else if i can help it.

Use an alarm, If the smart stops are still set the same as the old ones, their cut off is 3.2V

I would put the lvc in and run Lipos. You will not believe the power it will have

Ordered it yesterday so it might have the lvc built in? How will I tell?

it will say on the esc Low Voltage Detection near the power switch.
