whats the best air filter out there

Looks like a screw would secure the cap to the filter?...but I dont see one in the kit.

What is that thing sticking out of the end cap?..some sort of knob..have any purpose?

there is a screw included. that knob is to put a wire in then secure to the chassis. that way the filter isnt flopping around on hard landings. less of a chance of it comming detached that way.

makes sense..... what keeps the wire from popping out of the end cap?
