110% correct. The US media cares so much about the "sensational" bullcrap and absolutely nothing about real world news
IMO its partly because of these idiotic news media whores that most americans (until 9/11 anyway) were absolutely clueless as to whats going on in the world and what HAS been going on for so many years.
Its also the main reason i REFUSE to watch any of the network news stations. I'll watch BBC before i will ever watch NBC, ABC, CNN, or god forbid FOX.
