I'm hungry and its only 10:40. whats everyone eating for lunch? i am thinking a salad from carl's bbq sounds good

Anything but the freeze dried crap I've had for a week, baked ziti and too much red wine is what I have planned, oh oh, and a fried mozzarella with meat sauce! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

It's starting to smell really good in here. I'm making a pot of Uncle Ralphie's Monster Sauce for spaghetti. It takes many hours.
The Cauldron of mystery is simmering and festering as I type.

I have a signature sauce of my own. Smokey bacon, tomatoes, basil, oregano, carrots, celery, onions and garlic. Leave to simmer for 3 hours minimum, and put in fridge overnight. Put it back on stove, pour in a glass of red wine, and let simmer for another 3 hours or more.

Add some cumin, and you have a nice base for a chili.

hey alpine, do you get free food because your a police officer??
lucky SOB, lol

oh BTW, i had good ole taco bell for lunch, or taco smell as my wife likes to call it, she thinks it gross, lol

Wow, I'm full. I really pigged out. I also add smoked, peppered thick sliced bacon, honey and a lot of chopped sirloin. Red and green chopped peppers, onions and plenty of fresh pressed garlic. No carrots in mine.
One of my secrets? If you think you used too much garlic, add a little more.
