i was thinking just chassis and like mounts maybe the a amrs in front and back not too much tho thanks

NO don't do the A-arms in aluminum.....you got the right idea on the chassis and the driveline but keep all appendages plastic...RPM makes arms that have become the industry standard for most rigs......

well what do you guys htink about the jato 3.3 is it worth the extra $75? I plan on buying the rustler or jato NEW off of ebay

The Jato is a very fast truck, if it is your 1st then the rustler may be a better choice. The jato has a huge aftermarket support.

well i have been running my friends savage x ss with 3 speeds alot alot and i feel preety comfortable with the trucks, and have been flying helis for awhile also, I'm great with tuining dirt bikes and cars so tuning them I'm sure i can learn with some help at my hobby shop, and i wolnt be rippin around alot when i first get it ill take it nice nad easy

ill go for it do i still need a glow plug warmer/igniter thing or does the ez sart do it?

The easy start does it, but your better off unplugging the wire to the glow plug and gettin a ignitor. When the battery for the ez start starts dieing the glow isnt so bright and sometimes makes it hard to start.

No the Jato doesn't have reverse, as it is more of the "racers truck" vs the "bashers truck" but still my 2wd stadiums do well of road. A nice set of tires and its good.

when breaking in engine ill ned plugs, how many should i have? And are the ones that cost more acutally gonna last longer or which ones should i use? Does it come with a tool kit from the factory or do i have ot get one? What all do i need to get glow plug igniter fuel plugs battery charger (how long does a battery pack last in these nitros?) and what else?

When breaking in an engine its good to have a few. I wouldnt get the most expensive ones while breaking in. When breaking in the engine runs a bit on the rich side and fouls plugs up. I've had luck with expensive ones and cheap ones. Its all on the tune or luck. The plugs you should get are the ones that your engine needs. Some trucks come with the tool for the glow plugs, some dont. All hobby stores have the ignitor and fuel. The time a battery pack lasts depends on how much you use it. From a week, to a month, or a few days.

I have had the Rusyler 2.5. Very fast truck, easy to maintain, and has some hop-ups out there. The Jato for the extra $$$ is worth it IMO. I never had one, but Traxxas makes a quality product, and the Jato would be considered the next "generation" of the Rustler. That thing is faster yet,and if just for the backyard,it better be a big one, because you will eat up space quick with it.
