I feel bad about the LOTR series, I don't know if it was the pacing, the acting, not sure what, but just couldn't immerse my self in it like I could in the movies. I really wanted to like it.

Its a series, so I guess they can add a lot more details. Aka slow

You're lucky. The Mandalorian never ended. They cancelled the show and left the story unfinished and I could strangle whoever was in charge of that decision. But you're weird. It was a great show.

I think the Rings of Power gets better in season 2. There are parts of the various stories I don't really care for. But overall I love the show.

If you're a Batman fan, this is well worth watching:

I grew up watching it when it premiered on the TV back in the "you can receive three channels (and maybe one UHF channel) with an antenna strapped to your chimney on top of the house," pre-cable days.

This morning, I was watching some rally action; particularly with Ford Fiestas. An old girlfriend of mine had one and I loved it. I can only imagine how much fun a WRC rally build would be!

Watching this has me inspired to order one of the highly-rated Rlaarlo XTS-F10 1/10 scale non-licensed Ford Fiesta rally cars. I have a Ducati and retired Ducati motorcycle racer Valentino Rossi (GOAT?) races a Fiesta rally car these days. He's won the WRC Monza rally six times. I really like the XTS-S10 non-licensed Subaru WRX rally car also (Vermont Sports Car isn't too far from me plus I drove a Subaru for many years).

Too bad Rlaarlo can't get their stuff together and get proper licensing for modeling these cars.

For Mandalorian fans who are also knife nuts... my collection of Microtech "Bounty Hunter" OTF knives. A very unusual theme for Microtech, with a distressed, battle-worn finish reminiscent of The Mandalorian's armor.

Very nice!! Always wanted one, but can't carry them here anyway, so never could justify dropping the cash on them.

Nobody's really sure you can carry them here. One part of NY law says you can carry them while hunting or fishing, while holding a valid hunting or fishing license. But another law identifies them as illegal "dangerous weapons." Probably best to keep them at home...

Did you like the 2nd one? I thought the 1st one was awesome. The 2nd one, not so much. Especially that weird dating bit at the beginning.

I have seen some super nice, and very expensive Microtech knives in person. A guy I worked with was buying them and selling them at work. They are no joke. Like one of the most precise feeling mechanical devices I have ever held. The cheaper ones are awesome. But the high end ones, holy cow. He had one that cost $2500, and I wanted to stab him with it and take it home 😅
