Whatcha Eating?

My oldest sister is visiting from LA, and yesterday we came across a Laosian restaurant and decided to try it. I'm not familiar with Laosian cuisine at all, but the menu had lots of pictures. Everything was delicious and very fresh!

My best friend told me once "The camera eats first". Remember that .

There has been some discussion around my best friend's dinner table (he loves spam his wife hates it) and you guys have mentioned it from time to time. So, while in the store the other day I picked this up. I would be hard pressed to recall the last time I've had SPAM. Thought this one might be different. We'll see .

Cheetos and a bowl of cottage cheese.

Next time breakout some Ritz crackers and use those to scoop up the cottage cheese. I've done that maaaany times. It is soooo good. Mind you, this is comin' from a guy who dunks his Oreo double stuf cookies in iced tea . So take that for what its worth .

Don't have any Oreos around but I do have some cinnamon graham crackers. Ever put Pillsbury cream cheese cake frosting between two grams and made a gram sandwich. Oh, oh, oooooooh, oooooooh. Goodness.

Finally got the Toaster Oven Country Ribs Cook nailed down?...

First off, those were $1.99/lb two weeks ago, now $3.49 (I bought some "pre-spiced ends" @ $2.49)? 350F for 20 minutes uncovered, then 2 hrs covered @ 230F. I didn't get a chance to fix sides. Getting real close to "perfect"...

Out gettin' some things done this morning. While I wait I stopped in The Laughing Goat for a Spiced Chai. Real bohemian coffee cafe. Love it. If you knew me, I have very long hair (well past my shoulders) and I wear a lot of finger rings (six of my favorites continuously of my 15 or so I own). No, I do NOT have any tattoos or body piercing . I say all this to give you some context on just how I fit into this coffee shop .
