Since it's only myself and my wife, I have to have a party to eat all that food.

Hermann is doing good...

I used a lot of sourdough discard to make cheeseballs. This time I used cornmeal, even more (feta) cheese and lots of garlic and Italian herbs and I finally sprinkled cornmeal on them again. They turned out amazing. Sadly my oven bulb is done.

We shouldn't be either. At least not for another couple weeks. You might want to go check your spots. This is way early for the yellows here, and I was telling people that I bet the cold spells we've had, and the overnight temps being around freezing probably ruined our mushroom hunting this year. But these are growing in the the grass field out front where mushrooms shouldn't even be growing. They are blocked from the sun too by an overgrown fence. Strange year so far.

I would go through that in about 2 and a half months or so. I like the Mezzetta brand, and the biggest jar they have is 32oz, and I go through one of them about every 2 to 3 weeks.

Reminds me of moon pies. I saw some in a truck I was working on. Had momma pick some up next time she went shopping. Also a disappointment.

I just got those a few days ago to try. That cream is not cream. That is some chemical concoction that tastes a bit like deisel fuel. I knew that when I bought them that was going to be something weird. Back to Nutty Buddies.
