It definitely has bacon flavor. If you cook bacon just save the grease, it will last in the fridge for a couple months in sealed container. I work at a restaurant, so when we cook brunch on Sundays I just pour the bacon grease off the sheet pans during prep and take it home.

Are you saying you can't get bacon or bacon grease?

I don't think you understood my question. Could you just buy pork bacon? Is the ā‚¬39 for 14oz the price of bacon or bacon grease?

I'm glad we can still buy regular bacon. I've never eaten American bacon but what we do have isn't really lean. The bacon grease is indeed ā‚¬39

When I went to England, I noticed that they manage to make very crispy, salty yet still lean bacon, somehow

He did tell me I got the wrong kind. He said what you said the jalapeno version is much better. Well, guess I'll learn. I didn't eat any last night. I didn't eat anything yesterday. Just wasn't hungry at all yesterday.

I had never either until he told me I should try 'em. Apparently we need to get the jalapeno version. AND, he told me he got his jalapeno version on Amazon. So, if that's the case I guess I won't be getting any šŸ™„.
 
Was hungary but wasn't really hungry. One of those days. 8oz size pulled pork and cheese with a side of 8oz size potato salad. Carrot cake dessert for lunch today. The pulled pork and cheese was good. Could have done without the rest šŸ™„.
