Do you bake it in a cast iron skillet like my grandma used to..?Breydon's b-day is coming up on the 12th, but he'll be with his mom. So we're celebrating early. Just pulled a pineapple upside down cake out of the oven and OMG it smells good. I'll post up a pic after it cools. I'm drooling over here.
No, I will next time though. The recipe didn't say dark or light brown sugar, so I used dark. Next time I will try light, and probably about 25% less of it. But this is the first time having it with fresh pineapple and OMG it's good. Breydon plowed through this bowl in about a minuteDo you bake it in a cast iron skillet like my grandma used to..?![]()

Same way as my momdukes..Looks fantastic!!
Btw: She also used canned whole slices and also used the juice from the can in place of water. And… she put maraschino cherries in the middle of each pineapple ring! Damn I miss her!!![]()
Around my neck of the woods, that's called a Boston cream pie donut. My fav!
I've been banned from eating eggs at home.

They’re “tough to beat”!Heck yeah!
That works out roughly to 3 eggs per person per day. Sounds about right, to me.
Years ago, when my work shift started at 7:30am, I would hit the gym before work M-F. I would have the same post workout breakfast every morning: EggBeaters, sardines, baby spinach, and Valentina's hot sauce. The EggBeater carton says 21 servings per container. I went through a carton every 3 days. Roughly, 7 eggs daily.
I love eggs!!!
