Had steak tonight.

We stopped at Ihop on the way home from work tonight, had a Colorado omellette, pancakes and a chocolate milk. Service was great and there were only three other couples in there at the time. It was a really nice way to end the day after a rather crappy day at work.

I'm glad it ended well for you bud.
My wife and I had a not so pleasant experience the last time we visited Ihop.
Service was terrible, food was far less than perfect and we actually had to wait for a open table but yet
half the restaurant was full of empty tables. Are you kidding me?
We have never been back.

We have two Ihop's in town, one is just as you described, the other is pretty good. We must have timed it perfectly, because I have never seen it that empty.

We have the same issue with Wendy's, there are two in town that are horrible, and two in town that are pretty good. I think a lot of places need to fire management.
 
A few years ago we stopped at a Wendy's that is in another town 50 miles from us and the service was terrible.
We walked in and every single table was filthy with young female workers sitting on top of the tables talking to there boy friends.
We walked in and turned around and walked straight out.
I also filed a email complaint. A few days later I got 4 meal vouchers in the mail but sure as hell didn't go to that store again.

Most likely not enough servers or food preparers. Seems to be the theme nowadays.
 
Doing another double shift Saturday. Having lunch right now, bought from across the street @ Brickhouse. A large mushroom pizza and a chef salad with Greek dressing. Everything is good, but their homemade pita bread is da bomb!
