Same! Mom and grandma are out down in Virginia for a close relative funeral
They be coming back home in a few hours
Dad was home last night, at work now.
House to my self after school yesterday and today until about 2.
So since the women were out of the house, I could actually use the living room tv and couch! I'm mostly in the dark basement. AKA the dungeon or the man cave.

Going to a concert tonight in Columbia. ZZ Top, Lynard skynard and uncle cracker. Should be fun. Probably going to be one of the youngest there. Lol. I hate all this new music. Anything from about 2015 to current, not good.

Girls are away so its a father and son night. Meal of choice: Ribeye, homemade Mac n 3 cheese my son made(best I've ever had), sweetcorn and peas. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

Followed up with a Scotch Whisky and a movie, Fury.

When I was plating it up he kept getting underfoot and was just about jumping on the plate when I set it on the table. Licking his chops furiously! I had to tell him to calm down.

We smoked a prime rib at the campground last night...freakin delicious. People walking by were asking all kinds of questions about the smell. Tonight is a pork shoulder on the smoker. Cold smoke for a few hours then add the coals and let it rotate for a while. My buddy is a master at this stuff.

Having New England pot roast, mashed potatoes with gravy, zucchini squash. Will post photo when I can. Hospital food , very yummy.

Made a chicken thigh stew with typical carrots and celery, but today I added fresh ginger and Napa cabbage.
Came across a YT video of a chef adding a whole tomato to cook with rice.
Rice was ok, but stew was delicious!

Still have those prepackaged onion nans which I wasn't really fond of. But, they taste fine as pizza dough. Ham pizza.
Dessert was a bowl of Monster Mash cereal. These are really good!
Pizza and cereal for dinner. Am I turning into @Doom! ?
