Dinner tonight is jelly meatballs and rice. Added a little tumeric to the rice, along with some green onion stems. Meatballs were cooked in grape jelly, bbq sauce, chili sauce, and cayenne, with red onions. It's a southern thing. Really tasty dish.

I saw it on one of those cookoff shows. A woman used grape jelly in a meatball sauce. Turns out it's a real thing. Unbelievably good for how simple it is. I used Stubb's Sweet Heat bbq sauce, and Mishima Chef Troy's Recipe Crunchy Garlic Chili Sauce. I doctored it up with chopped onions and cayenne pepper.

Yep, meatballs using grapes jelly has been a thing for a long time. And, yes, they are very tasty this way.

Tonight's dinner:
Made taco meat with 93% ground beef, mushrooms, and frozen corn. Wrapped it into burritos with refried beans, cheese and green Cholula sauce.

Some broccoli would be the icing on the cake. Looks amazing. My stomach is rumbling.

I would have put some in the rice, but I just used the last of my brocolli screwing up some chicken fried rice 😜

Dessert 😝

Oh, I forgot these. Am I the only one that thinks kid shaped candy is pretty messed up?

Mrs doom says those are what they called cocktail meatballs, they were popular in the 70's.
Did you raid @Doom! lunchbox?
I Don't really eat much candy, well except for chocolate. Now twinkies, cupcakes etc, that's a different story. 🤣

We had pizza tonight. :)
