@Smilinbri Your daughter is my kind of artist! Love me some monsters. 😍

@Hammer Down All this time I thought Nordy wanted what you are having to eat. I just realized, I think he's just a photo hound. 🤣

Made this sausage fest for lunch. Kielbasa and cheddar cheese in the tortillas. Another Kielbasa under the jambalaya. Added spicy sweet chili domino's. Body Armour strawberry and banana makes sure there are no survivors.

@WickedFog
The jambalaya is:
Brown Rice, chicken, bratwurst, peppers, onions, celery, tomatoes, seasonings, chicken stock...

I spent a few, 4, years in Abilene TX. Played my part in chili cook offs. I can cook some chili. 2 years in a row, the guy behind me was the same guy. Ha, we both laughed. :cool: . We became friends.Then I got orders to Japan. That's what happens when you make friends in the service. Still had fun. :thumbs-up:

I really like the Cuban one, but the BLT, I'm not sure if I care for it or not, yet.
They've been watching too much Willy Wonka. That's why chips are so ridiculously priced. They gotta pay all those foodie flavor engineers 🤪

pork chops with spinach.And capersView attachment 165321
I am a big foodie.Fan.
Has capers, if it had mushrooms? Jaeger, schnitzel. Its Sooo good. Yum. Add some Italian bread. It's too much. :thumbs-up:
Nice!
I don't know if I'd be considered a foodie, but I absolutely love to eat!
How did you cook the chop? What's the base of the sauce/gravy?

Its a chicken base gravy. I use better than bouillon. I have 2 c water, heat to simmer. Add some better to bouillon, maybe a heaping Tbs. Reduce the liquid. It will be gravy by then. The chops are in the pan to start. It all melds in to a really good chop dinner. Add spinach, and some garlic. Maybe some fingerling potatoes. MMM :thumbs-up: Don't forget the French bread.:)

I love to cook. I just can't do it so much with my condition anymore. Most stuff I have to cook in stages and put in the fridge til I recuperate. But I do like to learn new stuff all the time.

Right now I've been playing with sauces. Been doing some wine and bourbon based sauces, and I've been having fun playing around with ingredients. I make a pretty decent barbecue sauce that I have been making and tweaking for awhile now. I always use a ketchup base, but my buddy's wife told me about Filipino banana sauce, which he said tastes like ketchup. It kinda does, but man, it is just killer as a base for making bbq sauce!
