I not only am trying to get healthy, I was out on my bike ride this morning and I spotted @Xraycer out on his walk.

Came across a YT video of making spaghetti by cooking the pasta in the sauce. The recipe called for a pound of ground beef and a half pound of Italian sausages. I decided to use all Italian sausages because I scored a great sale on them for 99cents/lb today. Bought nearly 4lb of these hot Italian goodies! Anyways, this is a bolognese style sauce, and the cooking of the pasta part is done in the oven.
This is the first time I made red sauce from scratch. Well, it turned out fantastic! I believe I could confidently say that this is the best spaghetti I've ever had. Still got plenty left after my son and I had dinner (Susan is in FL this weekend for younger daughter's cheer competition).

I see big chunks of garlic, I'm in. Looks good!
Good eye! They are tasty morsels when left nearly whole.
I'm going to really up the fresh basil next time around as well.
