Last night, Susan made carnitas in the Instant Pot. This evening, it was dinner. I made carnitas rice bowl. Added corn, salsa, jalapeno, and Yucateko hot sauce.

Domino's: bacon and chicken; mushrooms and sausages; Philly cheese steak tater tots.
Despite what the commercial hypes, my tots were soggy and disappointing, and for $7, a poor value for the price.

Nice!! Well, it is Friday, but it is also my son's 14th birthday and he wanted to go out for steak for dinner. (No complaints here) So we went to Texas Roadhouse. He got the 11oz Sirloin and I got my fav, 8oz Filet mignon. The girls had chicken. Good stuff. He even got the birthday song from the staff.

Nice!! Well, it is Friday, but it is also my son's 14th birthday and he wanted to go out for steak for dinner. (No complaints here) So we went to Texas Roadhouse. He got the 11oz Sirloin and I got my fav, 8oz Filet mignon. The girls had chicken. Good stuff. He even got the birthday song from the staff.

I haven't been to TRH in years. The one by us had really gone downhill.
I miss those amazing sweet dinner rolls and that cinnamon butter!
I used to order a steak with a baked potato and salad. I would fill up on the rolls and finish the Salad, have a couple of small pieces of steak, and then pack up the rest with the potato. 2 great meals for the price of one!

I used to love Domino's years ago. Ever since they changed their recipes, I don't like it as much. But I can't stand Papa John's or Pizza Hut's pizzas either.

Finishing off the seafood enchiladas for dinner tonight. Breydon actually loves them, and the beans, and corn cake. I thought he might, but he was making all kinds of mmm noises eating, and actually cleaned his plate

We had 3 baskets of the rolls!!! Sooo yummy!!!

Yea, used to love Domino's back in the 90s. Now it just taste like cardboard. Pizza hut is too greasy. LOVE Papa John's though!!

A Domino's opened 3 minutes from us just about a year ago. For only about $7, I think it's pretty decent. Definitely, convenient! Pizza hut, I would not pay for. Never had Papa John's.

Signed up for a double shift today. I was very early, so I went down the road to Mirror Cafe and grabbed breakfast. I got the Irish breakfast. Good stuff! Beans were meh, but I'm liking the accompaniment of tomato slices with breakfast stuff. It may be my new thing.

Went across the street to Brickhouse to grab a lamb gyro plate. Not the traditional shaven meat gyro, bit still pretty tasty. However, their chicken gyro is way better than this lamb version.
