Well, I finally caught covid Symptoms came on about 6pm yesterday: chills, acheness, and fatigue. So, no work until next Tuesday if fever goes away.
While I don't feel great, but at least my appetite is still intact.
Just had Mrs. X's pot roast and this may have been the best batch she has ever made. Had it with mashed taters. Dessert was the last of the apple pear pie.

Hate to hear you have the kung-flu. Glad its not bringin' you down too badly.

12 degrees out this morning. Felt like we needed something warm.

I don't know about you all, but, Man, I love food! All kinds of food!

So tonight, the wife left me to fend for myself for dinner. She and our 2 girls were all set. Our son is away at a game, and won't be home until late. This is actually great because I've been hankering for chilli cheese dogs.
Boiled natural casing hot dogs, Walmart Great Value chilli with no beans, Mexican cheese blend, fresh jalapeno, raw onions, cilantro, and Valentino hot sauce. Washed it down with a cold, citrusy Sam Adams Porch Rocker.

The worst was still Wednesday evening. I've been taking Theraflu and it manages the fever and aches. I feel fatigue, but not run down. Temp is on the downward trend, so that's a positive.

Been sick all week. Stayed home 2 out of 5 days this week. Normal cold. This morning / today was rough tho. Woke up with my right ear clogged and still is.

I think we having pasta for dinner. No pics tho. Gonna be phoneless for a while it looks like. Old school, I like it.

We had pork chops and scalloped potatoes, I didn't even think about taking a picture. I didn't expect a real meal tonight but Mrs. Doom is doing pretty good.

We've had a BIG day today. Cleaning up my mother-in-laws yard. Started at 6:30am and only just stopped now at 5pm. We are completely exhausted plus I'm sun burnt.

Both our kids are away tonight, so I told my wife to have a night off cooking. We will order in pizza. But for now I'm going to down some beers, followed but some scotch whiskey.

We've had a BIG day today. Cleaning up my mother-in-laws yard. Started at 6:30am and only just stopped now at 5pm. We are completely exhausted plus I'm sun burnt.

Both our kids are away tonight, so I told my wife to have a night off cooking. We will order in pizza. But for now I'm going to down some beers, followed but some scotch whiskey.

Skip the piss water. The whiskey will help the aches going on.

Congrats on cleaning the yard up. That's what I'm doing today. Because of rocks snd concrete combined with tight areas I'm gonna whipper snip it all.
