Sure, but I didn't measure anything.Looks great! Care to share your recipe?
Thanks!Sure, but I didn't measure anything.
I mixed together 1lb of sweet italian sausage with 1 egg and about 3/4 cup of rice. Made those into 1.375" +/- .250" meatballs. Layered them on the bottom of the crock pot. Then I added 32oz chicken broth and about 2/3 of a head of cabbage. Should have tried to get it all in there. Then 1/2 of a large onion choped coarse and a can of Del Monte sliced carrots. Then I added a tablespoon or so brown sugar, 1-1/2 teaspoon or so garlic powder and some minced onion, along with some salt and a boatload of freshly cracked black pepper. Oh, and half a stick of butter. Cook on high for 2.5 hours or so, then reduce to medium til the meatballs are done through and cabbage is tender.
Would be great with a cornbread muffin.
Looks so yummy.Skipped breakfast and worked out on the treadmill for nearly 40min. Showered and just finished a bowl of chicken parm with ziti. There was a week old sweet burger bun left, so I figured I disposed of that as well. Put back more calories than I just burned off![]()
Susan brought home a huge platter of this stuff from a party she was at last night. Apparently, nobody else wanted any, so we got it ALL! Looks like I'm going to be eating this all week.

Come on now. That's more like chocolate chip bread with bananaDinner was the remaining beef stew with a persimmon for dessert. An hour later I had 2nd dessert. My oldest is home from college for the week and she made this super moist chocolate chip banana bread earlier this afternoon.

There was a lot of chocolate chips, but I assure you there was plenty of bananas as well. A bit too much banana imo. It would have balanced much better had she added walnuts. It was still good af though!Come on now. That's more like chocolate chip bread with bananaLooks yummy af!
Sorry to hear that dude. Been going through a bit of a rough patch myself. My mom had a heart attack 2 weeks ago which she lived through but now shes having complications and she back in the hospital.I feel compelled to say it here.. My buddy died today. Don't give me any mourning. I somehow seem to outlive, one or another. You guys are so kind. I just had to get that out.Wife is bummed about me. I seem to just tear up, here and there. Hoping it goes away. Dinner is not an option for me.
Thanks. Mike
I almost went to Jersey Mike's last Saturday, but I got lazy and didn't want to drive 15min away and wait another +15min for my order. I settled on Subway just 3min away. Inferior subs, but I also happened to have a 3 subs for $18 coupon.
