Yeah, thanks. We went out for a ride today. Took the trail to the store. Each had a Bud lite to celebrate.
I remember them days. Four locos prior to recall for the rowdy days, budlight after mowing yards all day. 🙃🫠 I remember buying a 24 pack and sneaking into the apartment. Bottles were clinging and all. 🤣

Although we had a good run, it's been 6 or 8 years since I had one. I found whiskey nowadays.

Congrats on your new toy.

I grilled up sweet bourbon sirloin steak tips along with asparagus and zucchini.

Ham(hock) and navy bean soup done. Came across this simple recipe on YT. Using the Instant Pot, there's no need to soak the beans overnight. Not sure if I've ever even had ham hocks before, but this was my first time ever cooking with it.
The soup came out OK. It was missing something with the flavoring. I'm going to look at and try other recipes. I really like the simplicity and healthiness of this method.

OMG I'll be there in 20 minutes.
Nothing finer than a bowl of hot ham and beans.
I had turkey and cheese roll ups.

Maybe just salt and pepper? Chicken base? Looks killer. 💪
Had tacos again tonight. Peanut butter M&Ms for desert. :)

We met up with some good friends and tried a new place, Leo's Cafe Italia. Very limited menu, but oh man, what they do they do VERY well. We had two wood fired pizzas, both were good, but man the Diavola was the bomb!! It's also the first pizza I've ever had where I can taste each thing individually. We also had their black cherry gelato afterwards, SO GOOD. They are also walking distance from home, so we'll be there once a week for sure.

DIAVOLA

San Marzano marinara, mozzarella, spicy sopressata (salami,) hot pepper

And we also had the MORTAZZA. It was good, but we liked the DIAVOLA better.

Pistachio pesto, mortadella, burrata (soft, fresh, Italian cheese,) pistachio crumble
