We have a great Mexican place a couple towns over. Been a minute since I have been in there. 3 pulled pork tacos, black beans , and rice for 15$. 1 of my favorite stops when I get over that way

Mrs. X had a girls' weekend with her old college roommates. She brought home, for me, Olive Garden zuppa Toscana(sausage potato kale soup). I just had a bowl of that with a pepper jack and tomato grilled cheese. We had a package of baby spinach in the fridge, so I grabbed a handful and added it to the soup. It was yummy!
3 clementines for dessert.

My wife makes a version of this from scratch, it's so good!!
 
Can I get a HELL YEAH? Ok maybe just from me and the rest of the amphibians.
My wife's first attempt with chicken Tamale's. She absolutely nailed it.
I offered to loan my wife out to you guys just long enough to order your parts,
man did you fools fail miserably. You could have sent her to the kitchen for an hour. :D:D:D

With four Mexican restaurants here in town, tamales are an easy get for me.

The plethora of Mexican restaraunts here (crazy amount for such a small area) rarely have them. But the tiendas usually do.

Gotta work on your pronunciation/translation.....sound it out before she tries again....the word should sound like this em-pan-ada

We some friends that are Hispanic and they make them as well as my daughter.
I can live on Tamale's.

Had a neighbor from Ecuador for a while. His mom would come to visit and make empanadas. He would foolishly call and ask if he should bring some over....get off the phone man....and why aren't you here yet!!
