What brand of bourbon? I'm taking a break from it. Taking care of my mom in hospice I started doing shots at noon. Tgat turned into a liter a day average for a couple years. Some days almost a 1.75. Mostly Jim beam in my 20 years drinkin but I found wild turkey the last year. One of those do it so much it becomes a habit type deal. Good for you on waiting mid week.

My typical is Angels Envy. I totally understand you on the habit part, I went a bit too heavy with wines and bourbon for a bit getting through post partum issues. I did not realize how much that truly f's you up until experiencing it first hand. I'm just glad I made it through, it was rough.

My dad has ptsd over my mom's post partum and her hormone imbalance. She passed her mental health to me too. I look at it as it gives me character. glad you controlled it before it controls you.
