Has anyone here used what3words?

It seems like a cool solution to ID a specific location, better than a street address.

For example:

Where is that rc spot you mentioned near Denver?

Right here:

///gear.sands.tracks
https://w3w.co/gear.sands.tracks

Now, figure sending your buddy a three word address to your favorite crawl spot.

Or…tailgating before a game in a giant parking lot.

Etc.

Is anyone using this? Something similar?

It isn’t new. The what3words tool has been around for a while. It came across my desk again recently. The application of the concept, like sharing a crawl spot is cool.
To me, anyway.

No idea what this is? When I follow the link and click navigate it takes me to a storage facility parking lot in Colorado.

That spot is MHOR RC Raceway in Aurora.
my thought was to provide an example that is related to the forum.

Here’s another example in Longmont, CO.
It’s an 1/8th scale outdoor race track.

I’m sharing a what3words address to help you find this specific location. Tap to see exactly where it is:

///masts.diplomacy.amid
https://w3w.co/masts.diplomacy.amid

How much does are they bought for? Looking at an scx6 and something to go with it. 🤣
What the hell are they going to do with a wookie kidney here on this planet?

Wookie kidneys are a delicacy in Cambodia I hear 😅

So have you ever eaten fried kidney? It's kind of a normal thing in the UK, like calves liver!
I have not tried.

OMG. You guys are funny.
Kidneys for sale!
My 'local' track JUST moved to Seabrook, NH!!!
Now, for those tourists just visiting, Seabrook is your normal everyday coastal town who's population multiplys by about 1000 every summer. No one but the locals see its TRUE shade!😉
There is about a 50% chance that I'll show up at that 'track' address and loose a kidney AND my R/C!!! ( I'll bring a cheap one so I don't get TOTALLY screwed... a kidney, eh... my Optimas!!!! That's too much!!! 😲😳🥺🥴🤯)

My 3 words for the new track are def 'Kidney For Sale'

I'm also reserving a room at the ER.
Saved as 'I'm bleeding out' 🤣
