What truck is this?

Ok so a friend of mine has an older rc truck and from what i can figure out it's an original Traxxas Stampede. It would come with everything in the picture but he doesn't know if the motor or battery is good anymore. He wants $70 for it, should I buy it and fix it?

Agreed only if it works... I see theres a charger in the pic. Even if the battery is junk you should still get enough of a charge in it for a quick test run. If it moves it would seem like a good deal for both of you
